GoldQuestions is an independent, UK-focused education site about physical gold and silver. We exist to answer the questions people actually ask before, during, and after buying precious metals — in plain English, without selling anything.

How we research and review

Guides are written from primary sources and reviewed before publication. We cite official references where facts depend on them — HM Revenue & Customs for tax and VAT, The Royal Mint for coin specifications, and the LBMA for pricing context — and we date each guide so you can see when it was last checked.

Who reviews this site

GoldQuestions editorial review, Editorial review. Guides are checked against primary UK sources where possible, including HMRC, The Royal Mint, and LBMA context for pricing. A named reviewer can be added when the site owner is ready to publish those details.

Prices on this site

The gold and silver figures shown across the site are indicative end-of-day values, not live trading quotes. They come from a free public dataset and are for orientation only.

Independence & funding

Editorial pages carry no recommendations and no commercial links. If we ever add affiliate links, they appear only on a clearly labelled page, with disclosure, and never inside guides. See our affiliate disclosure.

Corrections
