How this is calculated
Pure-metal weight = weight x fineness. Melt value = current indicative spot price per gram x pure-metal weight. Premium = (your price - melt) / melt. The spot price is an indicative public-feed figure, not a live trading quote, so treat the result as a guide, not a valuation.
