Methodology

How GoldQuestions handles data, calculators, and editorial checks.

Price data

GoldQuestions uses indicative end-of-day spot history from free currency-api snapshots. Prices are educational reference points, not live trading quotes, dealer offers, or personal advice.

Calculator outputs

Calculator values are based on visible inputs such as weight, purity, unit, and the indicative spot price shown on the site. Outputs are estimates for comparison and should be checked against dealer terms, delivery, VAT where relevant, and professional advice where needed.

Guide sourcing

Guides are written to explain physical gold and silver topics in plain English. Where a topic depends on tax, regulation, hallmarking, or product definitions, the relevant public source should be checked before relying on the explanation.

Commercial relationships

The site is educational. Any commercial or affiliate relationship must be disclosed clearly before publication and must not be presented as an independent recommendation.

Corrections

If something appears inaccurate or outdated, it should be corrected in the source content and checked through the same QA process used for releases.
